A Moonling is a living moss ball paired with crystals, created as a small companion for intention, calm, and slow growth. Each one is alive, unique, and responds gently to care over time.

Are Moonlings hard to care for?

Not at all. Moonlings need fresh water every few weeks, indirect light, and a little attention now and then. They grow slowly and don’t demand daily care.

How long do Moonlings live?

Are marimo moss balls ethical or invasive?

Our Moonlings are ethically source in Victoria and safe to keep in Australia, however they are not permitted in Tasmania due to local biosecurity regulations.

Moonlings should never be released into natural waterways or outdoor environments. When cared for responsibly in their jar, they are a long-lived, contained companion designed for indoor keeping only.
