A gentle daily practice with five little Moonlings. Check in with how you feel or what you need, write a few words, and follow the moon through its phases.
How it works
A moon journal, and a home for whoever finds you
Moonling Universe is free to download. Journalling, affirmations, the moon and your intention garden are there from the very first day. When a Moonling comes home to you, they move into the treehouse.
Check in
Each day opens with one question. Choose how you feel, or what you need, and a prompt from the matching world meets you there.
Write and plant
Write a few lines and seal your scroll. Each new moon opens a fresh plot in the garden for an intention of your own.
Adopt
Enter the six-digit code from your Moonling's card, meet them, then give them a name. Their room is yours to decorate with Moondrops earned along the way.

Early 2027, for iPhone and Android. Join the list and we'll let you know the moment it's ready to download.
Is the app free?
Yes. Moonling Universe is free to download, with no subscription. We believe caring for your mental health should never come with a price tag, so the heart of the app (your daily check-in, journalling, affirmations, the moon and your intention garden) is open to everyone from day one, and will always be free.
Do I need a Moonling to use the app?
No. Everything for your daily practice works on its own. Adopting an Original or Amplifier Moonling with the code on its card brings them into the treehouse with a room of their own to decorate, and opens up Moondrops, the little drops of moonlight you collect as you practise and spend on decorating. Any Moondrops you collected before adopting are waiting for you. If you've been writing in their world before they arrive, they arrive already knowing you.
Which Moonlings come with a code?
Every Original and Amplifier Moss Moonling comes with a code to adopt them in the app. Baby Moonlings don't come with a code, but the whole daily practice is still free for everyone.
Which phones will it work on?
iPhone and Android phones. We'll email you as soon as each one is ready to download.
Where is my journal kept?
On your own phone, never on our servers. There's no account to make, it's included in your phone's usual backup, and you can seal your archive with Face ID so only you can open it.
What if I change phones?
Your journal, garden and rooms are part of your phone's normal backup, so moving to a new phone of the same kind (iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android) and restoring from your backup brings them across. Make sure backups are switched on in your phone's settings. Moving between iPhone and Android can't carry them over yet. Keep your Moonling's card somewhere safe too: its code adopts your Moonling on any phone.
I have more than one Moonling. Can I adopt them all?
Yes. Each world has its own Moonling, and you can adopt all five. If a code belongs to a world you've already adopted, the app will offer the worlds you haven't, so it makes a lovely gift too.
I already have an Original or Amplifier Moonling. How do I get my code?
Send us a photo of your Moonling at magic@sundropalchemy.com.au and we'll send your code over. We love seeing where they end up, so tell us where yours lives now, and whether you found them online or at one of our markets.
