How We Handcraft Our Candles & Moonlings
Every piece from Sundrop Alchemy begins its journey somewhere under the wide Australian sky — sometimes near a rainforest stream, sometimes by the ocean, and sometimes in the quiet glow of our caravan home. As we travel across this incredible country, we carry our little alchemy studio with us, crafting creations that capture the spirit of each place we visit.
Because for us, handmade isn’t just a process — it’s a way of living with intention.
The Heart of Handmade
Each candle, each Moonling, and each scroll begins with care, curiosity, and a touch of wonder. Our workspace might be small — tucked inside our caravan — but every corner is filled with colour, scent, and sparkle. We mix, pour, write, and wrap each creation by hand, surrounded by the sound of cicadas or the soft hum of the sea.
This traveling life lets us bring the magic of Australia directly into our work:

How We Craft Our Wick & Wish Candles
Our Wick & Wish Manifesting Candles are hand-poured in small batches using natural soy wax, chosen for its clean (no paraffin!), long-lasting burn. Each candle is blended with a scent that reflects the energy of its crystal, whether that’s the loving sweetness of Champagne & Strawberries for the Open Heart or the citrus clarity of Finger Lime for the Third Eye.
We add a touch of mica shimmer to each batch so the wax dances as it melts, a reminder to watch your intentions come to life.
Once poured and cooled, we tuck a charged crystal keychain into the base of every candle. When your candle’s finished, you’ll find it waiting for you, a talisman to carry your wish beyond the flame.
Each candle is finished with a golden touch, wrapped and packed carefully right from our caravan.
How We Create the Moss Moonlings
Our Moss Moonlings begin with real Marimo moss balls, sourced responsibly from Victoria and matched with crystals that complement their energy. We clean, inspect, and pair each one by hand, making sure every little sphere has the right shape and vitality to thrive.
Once chosen, they’re nestled into glass jars, decorated with crystal chips, and given their own Moonmark symbol and story scroll, a small piece of lore that turns each Moonling into a companion, not just a plant.
From the joyful glow of the Golden Moonling to the serene calm of the Dream Moonling, each one carries its own message and energy, ready to brighten desks, windowsills, and hearts.
The Magic in the Details
Every element of packaging, from the scrolls, tags, stickers, and hangtags, is printed and assembled by hand inside our moving workshop. We write, fold, and tie each one with intention, turning every order into a personal ritual.
